New Build: A Replica Pilot Cutter to once more work the Bristol Channel.

Our new build is a thirty nine foot vessel influenced by the smaller transom sterned Pilot Cutters of the Bristol Channel.

She is being built for charter, to offer challenging and stimulating sailing, based for the winter months in the notorious waters of the Bristol Channel, and then in the summer months searching further afield for adventurous sailing.

A wooden hulled replica of a Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter is the ideal choice for this sort of sailing, as these boats where designed to perform in the most demanding of conditions, whilst the heavy displacement and insulating qualities of wood creates a pleasant environment to live in.

Construction is of Larch planking on grown Oak frames, Copper / Bronze fastened for strength and longevity.
